Akshay Kumar is riding high on success after his last super hit movie Airlift. The movie went on to be a huge Robot 2 collection box office hit and was also appreciated by the critics as well. Now the actor is coming up with yet another movie titled Rustom. The actor will be seen impressing the audience with his actions sequences in his upcoming thriller movie Rustom. The star cast of the movie includes Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta in the lead roles apart from the actor. The makers chose him for clean cut good looks and his training in martial arts.
The audiences are eagerly awaiting for the release of Rustom movie and are looking forward to what the movie has to offer. Akshay Kumar is a Punjabi and was born in Amritsar. His family background is basically government orientated since his father too was a government employee. Khiladi Kumar studies at Don Bosco School and then Guru Nanak Khalsa College.
Akshay did a lot of films before reaching to what he is today. However, what got the actor enough fame was the movie Saugandh released in 1991 which actually gave his Bollywood career a kick. Akshay Kumar of Rustom fame got to play the lead role in Khiladi in the year 1992. After this the actor never looked back and did back to back movies. 1994 mark the release of the actor’s two action films Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Mohra that went on to become the highest grossing films of the year. The success of Khiladi movie made the makers think of its sequels too with Akshay in the lead role. In 1995, the makers decided to come up with the third film in the Khiladi series that had Akshay in the pivotal role.
